EpiCombo and UD tables know issue

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When an EpiCombo is added to a form and then the EpiBOName Property in the EpiCombo section is selected, the drop down list does not include all UDxx tables. In other words, the Data Dictionary Viewer lists UD Tables UD01 to UD40, however, the EpiBOName drop down only lists UD tables UD01 to UD20.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: Since UD tables UD01 to UD40 are defined, the EpiBOName drop down list should include UD tables UD01 to UD40.

From now on, please use EpicCare to track/update Development Problem Case PRB0187838,

Even though you cannot locate these business objects in the drop-down you can just manually type in the name of the UD BO you want to use and it will work. Just wanted to make sure this was clear as a work-around.

That mus be 10 only. IT doesn’t work in 9. Because I had originally typed it and it will not pull data.

Did you manually add the EpiTableName as UDXXList? I believe it works in 9 and 10.

Yes…still didn’t work. Maybe I was doing something else wrong but I have other screens set up and works fine. Now none of them are higher than UD20.

Below is how it will work in E9.

That is what I had too…I will try it again…maybe i messed up somewhere and just keep over looking it.

Ok, I have it set up the same way you have it shown…I have data in the table.

For some reason when I open Project Tracker I get this error message.

I don’t know why i am having so many issues I have done this before. I must be missing something.
If i change the display to Key1 instead of Character01 I don’t get the error message but when I click the drop down it is blank and very tiny (narrow)

Thanks for any help.

Try setting the EpiDataSetMode to RowsDataSet.

Can you clarify something? You reference Project Entry in the customization screen but then state the error is occurring in Project Tracker? I assume you meant Project Entry? Can you try clearing your client cache?

It was project Entry but I finally got it working. I am not sure what happened.
