Does anyone know where the Enterprise Search client version is read from?
My ES DB was 68GB, so Epicor recommended uninstalling ES and admin console and starting over to see why the DB was so large. I have uninstalled and re-installed them several times and I get a version mismatch 700C ( client ) to 702A (server ) when trying to create the index. I have checked the client and all of the mfgsys files, mfgsys.ver and none that I can find have 700C in them.
ES is running on my SQL server and I have looked everywhere I can think of on the app server and sql server.
I will get back with Epicor on Tuesday, but was hoping to have fixed before then.
Thanks
Greg Payne
