To the Yahoo Vantage Group Members,
These are the same enhancements I listed back a few months ago. The
only way we have a prayer of getting these practical enhancement acted upon
by Epicor is if WE ALL speak up. I hope every Group member will act upon
Greg's request and place a support call and attach your organization to this
enhancement request.
If enough of us respond, maybe we could these enhancement in Vantage ver.

I'd like to see an initiative to improve the user interface on Vantage. It's
reasonable for casual users, but I fear carpel tunnel syndrome every time I
do a large batch of data entry.
Some starting points:
Mouse Click Reduction: Figure out how to allow assigning the right mouse
button on the fly, so right click may mean Edit Comment during one session
or Check on-hand qty during another.
Screen Preservation Project: When selecting OK to return to the previous
screen, return to it as is, not jumping to first item on list (edit part
master for example of this). This would require an update followed by a
record seek on EVERY screen that exhibits this behavior.
Spreadsheet editing: Allow taking the same item from many
jobs/parts/orders/etc and editing it in a table, editing it and returning it
to Vantage. Image how fast editing the comments on 99 parts would be if I
could just hit the down arrow after each edit instead of selecting part,
selecting BOOM, selecting assembly, selecting Planning Operation, Selecting
Comment, then hitting OK, OK, etc. back to the original screen. And repeat
this 99 times.
Don't get me wrong. This would be an enormous undertaking, but it would
improve the product on a level that everyone would see.
