Employees forget to clock out

Our shop supervisors check their employees when they arrive at work each
morning. If they have been clocked in since the day before the supervisor
completes a form, has them sign it and it goes in their file. After three
of these they get a couple of days off without pay. After having this
system in place for a few months our "forgot to clock out" problem went
away.

Subject: [Vantage] Employees forget to clock out

Folks:

I am looking for how other companies have been handling the situation
where an employee forgets to clock out at the end of his shift. He
did end activity for all his jobs, but forgot to actually clock out.

Is there a way to set up an alert that checks for people who have
been clocked on the system over a specific amount of time? For
example, I would like to have the system check each night at 9 or 10
PM for any employee that has been clocked in for 12 hours or more. If
they are, then I would like an email alert telling me who they are.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
