Employee and User Dates - Hire/Termination

I had a previous company that had some custom fields in Epicor for Hire date and Termination date.

I am curious how and if others are creating date fields to track when accounts are created and disabled or hire and termination. This has come up for us as an audit requirement.

I wonder why Epicor doesn’t have this ability especially with all the audits so many companies have to do anymore.

Epicor has one field for hire, and one for termination in the payroll employee table. I recently tied a UDtable to that one as a child table to be able to track more than one stint with our company. I agree it’s odd that they only have one period available per employee.
