EDD Epicor Data Discovery URL setting location

I’m having a hard time locating in any of the technical guides where to set up the EDD url redirect / homepage EDD url source. When I click on it, it is taking me to what we had set in our 10.2 instance, and we have a new EDD set up for Kinetic.

It is installed and working, I tested by allowing it to take me to the E10 and changing the front of the URL to the new url but leaving the authentication token at the end. I was able to see the Kinetic data discovery and load charts.

Anyone know where to change the url for both what underlies the homepage and for the data discovery button? My Application Server Configuration I believe is set correctly as it all works if I manually redirect after authentication.

The EDD installer will also update the following table/field of the Kinetic/ERP database to store the EDD Url:

  • Table=Ice.SysConfig
  • Key=DataDiscoveryUrl
  • Column=SysCharacter01
  • Value=[EDD Url]

Well, I’m on the right track I think. It seems to have worked for setting all the URL’s like in the question. All the template EDD stuff that existed prior on our E10 is missing, but that’s probably okay. The Data Discovery works now with Kinetic data.

An add on to this - there is a place to edit the URL in the Web Client in Company Maintenance.
