E9 - Resource Group - Number of Resources

Yeah, thats what I do now. We have a scheduler who just wants to add one resource and not have to maintain separate resources

Â
13 emp with 24 work hours?

You can create one resource, export to excel and then use excel to copy the cells and make res1, res2, res3 and then PASTE UPDATE to the Grid view

I think i know the answer to this already but had to ask in case I am missing something. If we have an assembly resource group of 40 employees, other than creating 40 individual resources to calculate my capacity, is there any other way to indicate we have 40 employees x 8 hours per day as available capacity?

You would have 320 hrs of capacity. I was thinking of strucutring the shop calendar differently, but you would have to create approximately 13 resources even if you structured it to have 24 hrs a day. So either way you would have to accomodate a lot of resources.
