No brenda, in 9x the MessageBox is 4GL compiled code, and in .Net you are calling a library that pushes out to the client which you have no control over.

Now you could get creative and make your own, set a CallContextVariable then on AfterAdapter Method check if the callContextVaraiable has content and then display a messagebox from the content.
