E9 Crazy Customization Request

Yeah, but it would be so sweet!

I feel like it almost can be done with extended properties.

Sorry, should have read further. I guess you'd have to dig into Infragistics properties. As far as having it universally applied to grids on all forms that contain that part, I agree, it's crazy.

You should be able to change color with this too - ControlName.Appearance.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Purple;

Row rules allow you to do this in customizations and dashboards, well kind of. If conditions exits set all fields equal to Error (Red), Warning (Yellow), OK (Green) or Highlight (Blue).
This will change the color of the row. Hopefully you can live with the only 4 colors allowed.

This is a weird one for you.

I would like to be able to use a checkbox on the part record, and have wherever the part shows in a list or grid, have it pick up a color.

For example, if part.checkbox01 = true then the grid and/or list view throughout the system would show with a background color of "blue."

It would be super helpful to do this in job suggestions, po suggestions, etc.

Extended properties? Something?
