Any idea what the BAQ syntax would be for a running total in E9? I can’t get it to work…
I have tried making the APINVHED table a summary table and then turning it off.
I am using the following:
SUM(APINVHED.DOCINVBAL) OVER (PARTITION BY VENDOR.VendorID ORDER BY APINVHED.DUEDueDate)
Our company is currently on Epicor 9.05.702A and we’ve personally never gotten any summary fields to work just right. I’ve found that sometimes what needs to be done is to mark a table as Summary, get out of the “Business Activity Query Designer”, then get back in and create the summary calculated field and it works fine for a bit. But, usually the next time we make any changes to the query it will start having issues again and not work properly. I’m also not sure if the “Partition” and “Order By” commands are available in E9.
I’ve just managed to build what i needed in excel in barely anytime…i guess it would still be useful to know how to do the BAQ side for future reference.
