E10: Creating external DLL for BPMs

Thanks Anthony!
Found it.

After adding all of the references that Rob listed, I still have ServiceModel in “using System.ServiceModel” underlined with an error stating the namespace does not exist. This namespace does exist in Epicor.ServiceModel but where the Programming Interface generated this code, I’m assuming it’s just not a simple matter of switching it from System to Epicor.

Hi Rob,

Thank you for the response.
I added some that were missing but I can’t find Epicor.ServiceModel in the Sever\Assemblies folder. Is this one located somewhere else?

Hello,

Rob had touch on this but I am following the instructions in the Epicor Converted Code Programing guide.
I added the references mentioned with the exception of replacing Ice.Contracts.BO.Tip with Erp.Contracts.BO.JobEntry.

I went to Actions -> Create Programming Interface in the Method Directives screen and copied and pasted the code into my Visual Studio Project.

Right away 3 using statements are underlined with errors asking if an assemble reference is missing.

They are:
using System.ServiceModel;
using Ice.Contracts;
using Ice.Tables;
using Ice.Tablesets;

Has anyone else tried creating an external DLL for use within a BPM? If yes, any ideas on what I am missing?
