We have been testing Dynamic Attributes on Lot controlled parts. We received a part and entered a lot number along with a Dynamic Attribute set. When we go to issue the material and select a dynamic attribute set and then select a lot number, the two are independent of each other. We ended up selecting a Lot number that was different from the attribute set we received against. There is no Dynamic Attribute link on the partlot table so I think we need a BPM to update the partlot table with the attribute set so when we issue material we can just select the Lot number and have it grab the correct Dynamic attribute. We only plan on having 1 lot number for any attribute set
Had anyone else used Dynamic Attributes with Lot Numbers and worked around this issue?
