Duplicating a Part (Cost Roll-up)

You can set the standard cost at any time by doing a Cost Adjustment under Inventory Management > Cycle Count Processes.

 

Under Engineering > Reports there is a BOM Cost report – if you need a roll up.

 

You can also right click on the Part revision and go to Method Tracker. In Method Tracker under actions -  view cost.Â

When you create a standard costed assembly part do you have to use the costing workbench and perform a cost roll-up in order to generate cost information for the part upon a transaction to inventory?
