Duplicate a Job in Epicor 10.2.600.3

We want to work off of a Job template, so we created a Job as a template, but it seems there is no way to duplicate a job like you can duplicate a project or is there and I am just not seeing it?

In the job we have several Operations and Materials already added, and it would save us so much time this way.

This is what Engineering Workbench and creating a BOM/MOM for a part would do.

Ok great, thank you, on it now.

Once a job is marked as “Template”, it can be used during the “Get Details” process of any succeeding job.

Create the job shell for the new job, then in Job Entry (where you need to enter at least a Req By date first) go to Actions > Job > Get Details.

On the window that opens one of the tabs across the top is “Job”… click on that and select the job number that you’ve marked as “Template”. That job’s method (operations and materials) will be brought into the job you’ve just created.

thank you I will look into that too. When we created it, we marked it as “Template” but I could not connect the to a template, this makes things a little easier. I will look into that now.

You are awesome, thank you so much. It took me a little to figure it out what you mean, but its perfect. Thank you so much.

Correct you cannot copy a job but you can use one as a template job or to pull methods in from that job to another job/BOM/Quote method
