Hi Doma,
Our 3rd party supplier has run a couple of dump & reloads for us - we did see performance improvements for maybe 6 months after.

Did any of you did dump & load on progress DB, did this improve any performance related issues with the application.
Do we have any hidden problems by performing the dump & load on the DB?

I've performed a Dump & Load on our DB about 6 times. We definitely see
an improvement with our system's speed. Especially with reporting and
printing. Like anything Vantage there are a few goofy things to think
about. Best advice I could give would be to perform a test run. Once
you do that and get used to the steps of the procedure you will be fine.
