Do method and data directives affect external system calls?

Hello!

We integrate our Epicor 10.1.400.16 platform into systems like Salesforce or jitterbit. My question is, if an external integration is written to call the Epicor business objects, do the method and/or data directives still take effect? I’m assuming yes but just making sure.

Correct assuming they are calling epicor services

Like Aaron says, as long as you are using the business objects (BO’s), then yes.

Correct, the same services used by the clients are available to you via SOAP or REST.
