We are having issues when trying to update our DMT to the latest patch. We are in version DMT 4.0.18.0 and when trying to update to version DMT 4.0.19.0, I click on Download & Install Update and respond YES to the “Install and Restart DMT” dialog box, and after doing that nothing happens. Usually, DMT closes, updates, and reopens again, but not anymore.
I have just tested the upgrade from DMT 4.0.18.0 for 10.1.400.0 to DMT 4.0.19.0 for 10.1.400.0 and it upgraded correctly. What version of Epicor are you on?
Do you have full rights to change the files? I’ve seen this issue when we
had DMT on a server. Only the domain admin group had the rights to replace
the files.
Another option is to download the latest from Epicor and copy the file into
the directory.
