DMT - Bill of Operations (row has been modified, part already checked out)

We’re trying to update > 10,000 parts with a new Production Per Scheduling format (from PM to MP), along with the new Prod Stan value. I created a template using the DMT tool (Engineering -> Bill of Operations) and added the necessary fields.

Using a sample set of only 10 parts I get the following errors for 5 of the parts:

  1. Table: ECOOpr Msg: Row has been modified by another user and couldn’t be updated
  2. Table: ECORev Msg: This part is already checked out to group XYZ

I am the only one using the system and none of these parts were originally checked out. After running the DMT, a few of the parts are left checked out.

Any ideas?

Same problem here, error #1 only. Nothing checked out.

Are there any BPMs on ECOOpr?
You can turn on tracing in DMT to see what else is being hit with your update.
Each row of the DMT is a complete cycle. Check Out - Modify - Check in. If there are any issues then the check in doesn’t happen and the assembly is left there.

We had one BPM on the CheckIn that was causing the issues. The other BPMs on CheckOut and CheckIn did not cause a problem.

Solved my issue by changing “EstSetHours” to “SetHoursPerMach.” It’s “EstSetHours” on JobOper and in the BOO Template Builder but actually “SetHoursPerMach” in ECOOpr.
