We have a process by which we issued a piece of equipment to a customer and then took it back as an RMA. The serial number record was created when the job order was received to inventory. The serial number shipment information updated when it was shipped and the RMA information on the serial number updated when it was received against the RMA.
When I look at the serial number status, it still says that the serial number is in the inspection process. When I check the Serial number the status still says inspection. Shouldn’t it be inventory?
We’re trying to select this part and issue to another job order and nothing is appearing - what part did we forget?
Unfortunately it’s month end and I need to get this transaction processed.
