Disk Configuration for Vantage 8.03.405a

You should be using Raid 10. The best configuration we have found is this:

1st Array - Boot Drive and Programs - Raid 1
2nd Array - Paging File - Raid 0/1
3rd Array - Database - Raid 10

You should have dual controllers. The first two arrays can be on one controller and the database array on the other.

Do not use Raid 5.

We are reviewing Vantage 8.03 with Progress and we are wondering if
anyone can confirm the best Raid configuration to place on the server.
We currently have the disk configuration setup at Raid 5 but find it's
performance to be too slow in test.
