DeskPDF Part II

Have you tried using PDF Creator? It is an open source (free)
application that has been working great for us. I have users printing
Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, Pro-E drawings, AutoCAD drawings, Vantage
reports, etc. without any problems. I just tried a print screen from
Vantage (F6) and that worked as well.

We have this working now that we unchecked "use local printers". Now we
have another problem.

You can't print a Vantage form (PO, P/S) to DeskPDF unless you print a
Vantage Report first. It has to be a Vantage Report not a Report
Builder Report. If you don't follow the order below nothing happens.

Scenario:

Open Vantage
Browse to a Vantage Report i.e.: Materials Management\Shipping -
Receiving\Reports\Schedule Shipments
Print this report to DeskPDF
Save PDF

Now open Materials Management\Shipping - Receiving\General
Operations\Customer Shipment Entry
Print a Packing Slip to DeskPDF
Save PDF

Does anyone know why this is? We would like to eliminate the work
around.
