Descrepant Parts Costing from Inspection-DMR

I'm not sure which version you are on, we are on 4.0 and ran into similar
problems. I spoke with Epicor and this is a known bug. It can also affect
work orders when transferring product to "stock". Since there are no more
changes to 4.0, Epicor essentially said too bad too sad. If you would like
more detail please feel free to give me a call.

Subject: [Vantage] Descrepant Parts Costing from Inspection-DMR

We are having problems determining how Vantage is costing descrepant
parts from data collection. We are a Standard Cost system and
choosing to move costs to DMR from inpection processing.

We know that the costs remain on the original job until they are
moved from inpection processing to DMR. However, after moving all
affected parts to DMR, it appears that these costs do not equal the
costs that remained on the original job for these parts.
