Deleting Warehouse Bin Records

It would appear that once a Warehouse Bin is involved in any transaction, it cannot be deleted. In my previous ERP system, it was necessary to ensure that there was no inventory associated with the location (Warehouse Bin record), and that the location was not associated with any part record, but once there was no inventory in a given location, and it was no longer linked to a part record, the location could be deleted. Epicor appears not to function that way.

I’m just trying to do some housekeeping. I just want to clear the database of Warehouse Bins that are no longer used by deleting them.

Can’t delete it if it’s been referenced on any transaction. Best you can do is mark a bin inactive if it’s empty (top right)

As @zwilli526 said, all you can do is mark it inactive. If it were deleted, historical reporting of transactions would get a null for bin and bin description.
