Didn’t want to resurrect an old post for this, but the issue is what Utah describes in this comment:
I’m setting up Cycle Counts, and I have a Physical Count that was performed in 2023, posted, but never completed / closed. The problem is… That Count Cycle isn’t showing up in Count Cycle Maintenance. I think someone might have deleted it, and Epicor allowed it for some reason? There is a CCHdr record, which is where I found it.
If you are using Kinetic screen, it doesn’t display physical inventories by default. You have to search for them and make sure to check the “physical inventory” check box.
Similarly, searching in classic requires using that check box as well.
In my experience, if a count is posted - and I mean every part - then the cycle is closed automatically. I don’t think you can manually close it (nor reopen).
What does the “Posting Status” column look like for this count? Like @lindsayc said, you have to check a stupid box in the search to get it to come up.
Yeah took some digging but there was one part (out of 7k) that wasn’t posted. It was marked as returned and that was throwing me for a bit, but I found the answer to that one here Physical Inventory Not Yet Evaluated Issue - #6 by CyndieC
