"Delete not allowed. Referenced by at least one Employee." Erro

And that makes complete sense, but when I try to delete the other company that's attached to the user, I get that error message below.

This is one of those errors that level 1 support doesn't find in their answerbooks, so now they're 'stumped'. Grr.

I'm trying to delete a company assignment to a user in User Account Maintenance, and I get the following error: "Delete not allowed. Referenced by at least one Employee."

Ultimately, I'm trying to delete an entire company using the Epicor Administration Console, but it seems like it won't let me do that if I have users that are assigned access to that company.

What do I need to un-set in order to be able to delete this company?
Look at your users, check the tab at the top of their user profile named
"Company"

If any user has that company attached to them, then they need to have it
removed and be added to a different company before you try to save them
since a company is required.

Subject: [Vantage] "Delete not allowed. Referenced by at least one
Employee." Error

I'm trying to delete a company assignment to a user in User Account
Maintenance, and I get the following error: "Delete not allowed. Referenced
by at least one Employee."

Ultimately, I'm trying to delete an entire company using the Epicor
Administration Console, but it seems like it won't let me do that if I have
users that are assigned access to that company.

What do I need to un-set in order to be able to delete this company?
