Date field in BAQ report designer Option fields

Hello,

I am talking about BAQ report designer Option fields.
If I use any date field from any table(eg. PartTran.TranDate) then I get date toolbar in form, but it restricts what data will be populated in report xml.
I need to enter date in report form, that it would not affect what data will be populated in XML.
There are special Option Fields ReportParam.Character1 but then I have no date toolbar and I have to enter it myself.

Is is possible to get date toolbar in BAQ form, that does not affect data?
