I just have to throw this in: converted from (Good Old) DCD Classic
How do I figure out the size of our database? Our live backup file is about
33MB. When I look in the Vantage/db directory, the vantage.db file is only
32KB, and if I add the vantage.xx files together I get over 100MB.

We've been "live" since 6/00. How many user's WHATS? :) We have 25 users
plus 4 data collection.

I am using a modified .st file which builds a bunch of files to specific
sizes. Had to do this b/c of problems with recovering our backups due to
the size of our database. Before doing this I could easily enough look a
the size of my files to see how big my database was. Now since I have
'blown up' files I can no longer do that. Does anyone know how I can
either use a script or progress tools to truly see how big my database
is?

I was able to figure this out. FYI for others wanting to know specifics
about your database and tables.

using proenv run the command against your database. In this command my
db is mfgsys. the last part of the command
> db_analysis.log
can be removed if you want to write to the screen instead of a log file.

proutil mfgsys -C dbanalys > db_analysis.log
