Data Reporting for Multiple Employees on Same Job - V5.1

Keep the reported labor hours at 8.0, have the employees split the
production by reporting 500 pieces each, and report the burden hours for
each employee to be 4.0. If the operation is set to be a crew size of two,
the burden hours should calculate to be half the labor hours. The burden
hours versus the earned hours is the efficiency calculation.

Subject: [Vantage] Data Reporting for Multiple Employees on Same Job - V5.1

We have a situation where it take 2 people to work on one machine to produce
certain parts.
Both employees log on to the job and report their labor. ie...1000 pieces
each in 8 hours.
In fact, 1000 pieces were produced by both employees. The standard is 125
pieces per hour.
Now the production is overstated. If each employee enters 500, the
production quantity will
be right, but the employee efficiency will be understated.
I thought the crew size would account for multiple employees, but I was
mistaken.
Does anyone know how to work around this......or am I missing the obvious?

regards,
