Data Discover User Guide

,

Is there a defacto EDD User Guide? I want more understanding of how it all works, all of the options in the UI, etc.

I’m wondering the same thing. I haven’t found anything comprehensive for EDD in the Epicor documentation page.

there are few documents in the Epicweb, have you checked there ?

I literally can never find anything on EpicWeb. I searched Data Discovery and went through every link that popped up and most were sales slides, some were generic snippets from help file on installation (which were lacking), some were demos of it, and some were “education” docs which just give you a few steps of doing specific tasks with no explanations. :frowning:

if you have an access to EUG, there is video file, i have not seen it yet to evaluate it, but it should be a good start

does anyone have aNy resources to get going with EDD?

Wondering the same thing…

Did you ever find anything?

Epicor isn’t really doing PDF guides anymore, everything is in the online help. For EDD it’s pretty extensive

where is this info please?

Hi @Chris_Conn , and everyone else looking for this doc,
Yes, there is one in Epicweb > Epicor Education

Go to :

Then click on Course Catalog > Course Listing/Search, and enter Epicor Data Discovery

Click on the one marked as Public, the click on the URL:

In the Page, click on Before You Begin and then click on “Printable version of course”

That will give you the PDF version of the course.
data.discovery.pdf The version I get today is 2021.2, but before they had for any previous version (10.2.700). I don’t think there were too many changes anyway.

Here is the table of content of the course:

from inside Kinetic home page - click the help link and search for Data discovery

then click on that first link

and click on the middle ‘breadcrumb’ at the top for Data Discovery. It’ll take you to the page I snipped earlier.
