2 employees are not clocked out for lunch by Epicor and I can’t figure out why.

Each is assigned to a shift and each shift has a definition that shows start and end time of the shift as well as start and end time for lunch.

why Epicor does not apply lunch to these two employees?

Is it consistent with these 2 employees? Every day?

Any chance they manually entered time via Time Entry instead of through MES?

Can you do a query to see if the shift value is even showing on the employee ID. Or maybe just Changing the shift, save, change back, save?

No time sheet entry only through MES.

Lunch check box not checked and other employees check box enabled.

I written query the lunch shows zero

What it looks like to me is that they’re clocking in AFTER the scheduled lunch. Below is one of my shift set-ups:

You can see that, yes, lunch is turned on, but it is also scheduled from 11A - 11:30A.

Based on your query, it looks like it was recording lunch for this individual on 6/20 - 6/28. At that time, he was clocking in around 5:45AM. It LOOKS like your scheduled lunch starts at 12:00pm and it was being included.

However, this person, on 7/1 started clocking in at 12:30 or later. This is AFTER the 12:00pm scheduled lunch for the shift, so it isn’t being applied.

To me, it appers this person is no longer working typical Shift 001 schedule. Should he/she be reassigned to Shift 002 (for example) to pick up a different lunch hour?

That is what I am seeing as well.

Your Shift 001 Lunch is from 12:00 - 12:50pm, their shift ends at 1:00am You need a different shift. Did these people move from Morning Shift to a Swing Shift? Either way, you will need to assign a new shift to them

Yes,

We have a two shift

I feel you need a new shift like this.

On a side note, I can tell you are not in California, but here, they need to take their 30 minute unpaid lunch break before 5hrs.

Yeah, I would try putting him on Shift 002 and see if the Lunch comes back in. At least that would pin down if clocking in after the Lunch period starts is why it is not being included in the time entry.

Then, long term, you’ll have to decide whether keeping them on Shift 002 (clock in/out times seem relatively close to their actuals) is sufficient… or create a new shift that more closely matches (12:30 - 01:00 for example).
