I'm still on 5.2 so I don't have that checkbox - but I went to epicor
website to read about it and it states
"This function is new to version 6.10. If this box is checked on a work
center and the work center is used on multiple job operations where an
employee would be clocked into 2 operations at the same time it will split
the labor hours based on production standards using the following:
The split is based on the operation's actual time multiplied by the
operation's expected time divided by the total time."
So, if you estimate is 0, it's multiplying by 0 to arrive at the time on
job. From reading this, I would say to try unchecking that box and it will
probably solve your problem...

My hunch is that if you are asking the system to use Estimates, then you
will have to have Estimates. You could try un-checking that box (probably
you should anyway if you are not using or cannot rely on your estimates).

If you are on 6.1 (maybe 6.0, but we skipped that one)? Does the Work
Center Master have the box checked that says "Use Estimates"?

Labor hours will show up even if there are not estimates put in, but
they do
not show up on the job until the person is clocked off the job. Is the
person still clocked in that you are looking at?

Please Help!
We just started using shop floor data collection terminals. We have
been running into this when we do not have set-up or production times
entered into a operation. When a person is clocked into that
operation for 8 hours we look into the job and no labor time is put
against that operation. We have a lot of time and material jobs and I
was wondering what I can do to collect labor time into these jobs,
without having to put time estimates in for all operations for time
and material jobs? Am I missing something?
Thank You
