I’m creating a dashboard in which the user will enter criteria to filter the results. In all of the fields I’m adding, there one where the dashboard is creating a Combo Box instead of a text box. Is there anything I can do about this other than customizing it?
I cannot figure out how/why Epicor is creating a Combo Box for the tracker view.
It uses the “like” property of the field. You can override that in the BAQ. But if you do that, it will break the open with context.
One way that I’ve gotten around that is to create a calculated field that is simply the field that you want to filter on. Then filter by that column, but show the other column so that the context menus still work.
