I was trying to update a dashboard our consultant made for us and I copied every setting from the old dashboard and it works very well when I’m still in the Dashboard creating app but when I deploy it or test it from deploy pop up, it does not filter search. Am I missing a step when I’m deploying the dashboard?
This is how I want it to work(Works only on Dashboard):
sorry for asking this, just wanted to make sure that you are following the basic steps, now could you try to change equal to match as you are comparing string to string ?
Yeah, I’ll try that again. It was set to match first but then I wanted to try equals to see if that was the cause. I’m very inexperienced and this is my first dashboard with tracker attempt so my issue is probably something very stupid. Would having that wrong for other fields prevent the results from being filtered?
the tracker customization sometimes does funny changes, what you doing seems to be correct, just doble check the properties of the tracker field that labeled with PO to make sure that it is compared to the right table field values
Thank you for your help. I will check the all the properties once more. It is so weird that when I’m still in the dashboard setup window, it works perfectly
Update: Still does not work. I’m going to try redoing the tracker customization
Found the issue I think. If there is a rule setup for a field in tracker so it does not filter when deployed. I had a rule for “in Stock” field which is OnHandQty and it was supposed to turn green when the order selected had parts that were in stock.
