We have an issue with Cycle Counting where a part selected within a Period/Cycle is referenced as being in one Bin location when the cycle was created but by the time they get the counts in the parts have been moved to another location?
The counted quantity is correct, it’s just that if they were to post the counts the system would be updating the correct qty but in the wrong location, which would generate quite a bit of inventory transfer needs each time they do a CC.
For example, 910 parts were to be counted in Bin 1 upon creating the cycle, days pass, go to do the counts, enter the correct qty but now the parts are in a different Bin – How do we handle this?
