Cycle Count Functionality

The process is fairly simple.
After you select your parts and generate tags for them, you can print the tag sheets from the actions menu.

However, if you want to view all of the tags, and input the returns, void a tag, etc...you do this from the count tag entry screen.



The management function of setting up the count group, posting the group, etc...is a management function that could theoretically take place in a different location from the warehouse. Tag count data can be entered by non-admin people using MES, so the functions are separate.

We have never used the cycle count functionality in Vantage 8.0 and are trying to get it to work for us. I am having trouble gernerating tags. I created count groups, completed the auto select parts step, and selected start count. According to the help menu, I should be able to generate tags and view them on the count group list screen. I do not see any generated. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Have you setup and calculated your ABC Codes?

The ABC codes have been setup and calculated. I am not sure what it
could be.
