If you are on E9, then you can use the Solution Manager to wrap up the customizations before doing a back up.

Is there to do a mass export of the customizations?  And not just one by one…

They’re not externally saved.  They’re saved within the database itself.  That’s why if you do a backup and restore, everything goes with you.

When you open each and every screen, it’s generated on-the-fly from the db.

Been picking up speed with more and more customizations. Typically, I create a new Menu ID and publish the customization. For example, I just created a customization in Part Maintenance. Created a new Menu ID and published with access for the appropriate Security Groups. I then set the original Part Maintenance Menu ID as "Security Manager Access Only". I have always done this and never had an issue. Well, today I have an issue and basic users receive a message that they are not authorized to make changes.

So, I went into Help and read about the "Enabled" checkbox. I unchecked the "Enabled" box on the original Part Maintenance Menu ID and logged out and in as one of the basic users. The original ID was not visible and any change using my new customization was now allowed.

Is this the proper/best way to make all of this happen. Maybe I was just fortunate on the other customizations that I never encountered this type of issue.
