Query. I resize a column. Save the changes, and the next time it
opens it resets the changes I made.

Any insight?

Like most customizations there is a funny little two-step involved in saving it and exiting from Vantage that must be followed in the correct order. I don't recall the details but I believe it is detailed in the help screens.

OK found it. Butch Menge posted the following back in October:

Regarding the changes not saved - I had a similar problem with another
screen. I called tech support and found out that for any customizations
you make, you have to save a valid record to actually save the changes.
Here's the workflow:

Open the form
If there is a record already created, load it
Right click on the form and select customize
Save all frames
Exit customization
Select OK to save the record and close the form (this is what actually
saves your customization)

I still had a problem with a form where I could not make multiple
changes to the form. I had to make one change, save it, go back in,
make another, save it, etc.

Try making the changes on the query using customization not personalization.

I am trying to customize the quote tracker by adding "quoted" to the
list of available information. Is this possible? I'm not finding any
good documentation on eportal to support my inquiry.

In both 5.1 and 6.1 Quote tracker, "quoted" is a filter, so you choose
"quoted" or "not quoted" before you select a quote to view. Am I missing
the point here?

in 5.1, and in 6.1 it is the third box below the sort by box in TRACKER.

We are on 5.2 (not using CRM) and also have the "Quoted" or "Not Quoted"
Filter option in quote tracker.

I am trying to customize the orderdtl screen. I want to and one number field for a user to populate. The problem I'm having is that after I add the field and save the customization, I can't get any data to save in that field.

The field shows us every time I open a order detail line but when I put a value in that field and hit 'OK', it does not save.

Any ideas?

Yup,
You have to assign it to a field. The properties will give you the VBForm
Fields to choose from. It ought to be an automatic thing, but it's not.

Is there any way, without calling custom programming staff, to
customize any of the buttons that are not being used in the Shop Floor
Data Collection screen? For example, we would like to be able to
program one tof the button to execute a PDF file.
