I'm not sure I follow you 100%, but I think what you need to do is to go into Tools/Data Tools and create a
new foreign key view to your customer/supplier table. Once the view is created, your customization can access the phone Number field in the customer/supplier table.

Subject: [Vantage] Customization to add Text Field
Vantage 8.03.406
I thought this might be pretty straight forward but I am obviously
missing something.
This customization has been made on the Miscellaneous Shipment Entry >
Header > Detail, where I have added a Text Field with a Label. My
intention was to bring the Phone Number into this form. So, when I
select a Customer/Supplier and it pulls in the Ship To Address
information I was expecting the Phone Number to come along. I did
verify the number was on this Customer/Supplier.
Since I was not creating something new, but rather using an existing
field from the table, I made the assumption it was straight forward.
Would someone give me a little push down the right path?
Thanks.
Jeff
