Customization Compile Error - Pop Up Failure - 2nd PC this has happened to

Out of the blue we have had our 2nd PC with this error that stops Epicor from running a customization.

“The customization is having compile errors. To fix the errors, launch the program in developer mode.”

If I login on that PC as administrator the problem persists.
If I login to a different PC as that user the problem is no there.

Something happens to the PC that suddenly causes this problem but nothing appears in the Windows Event Viewer.

I completely wiped any trace of Epicor from the system, rebooted and re-loaded. No Joy !
I tried rejoining the PC to the domain, no luck.
I tried replacing some interop.dll’s.
I tried re-creating the windows profile.
I ended up wiping and reloading the PC from scratch !

I am stumped how this could happen without a decent way to figure out what happened.

Can someone point me in the right direction ?

Thanks,
Neil

could be that the compile of the local dll went sideways. Clear the cache manually and try again C:\ProgramData\Epicor on Windows 10. Delete everything in there with Epicor closed, then open and try again.

@jgiese.wci Thanks for that suggestion, I should have mentioned that was the first thing I did.

I will edit my post to reflect this.

If you launch in developer mode on that particular PC and smash that F5 key does it say all is well?
