Customer Part Numbers

At my last check Scott, it's a one to one. It can be a pain to change
as well. We had a case where the customer swapped two numbers (ordered
it incorrect the first time). Every time we tried to fix the one part,
it would change to the other part. Had to empty both records and then
set them both back up.

Subject: [Vantage] Customer Part Numbers

Does anyone know if it is possible to have multiple customer part
numbers for the same internal part number in the customer part
number cross reference table?

For example, one of our product lines is ramps. They are
configurable (width, length, options, etc.). There is one part
number for all ramps that is configured in order entry. If a
customer buys 10 different configurations of ramps and has a
distinct part number on each one, how do we set up our cross-
reference table? (Our part number is the same for each one from a
configuration standpoint - the customer's part number is different
for each one). I am only able to get one cross reference entry in
the table for a given part number. Is there a way around this?
Thanks!
