In 8.03, the report has a report style and report data definition. You can add the Need-by date of the release to the data and then write a custom report. The dates are passed to the report so you should be able to do the columns for the dollars or quantity using the dates passed to the report.
You cannot change the query because it is a hard coded query, but doing what I indicated to the RDD, report style and custom report, you should be able to accomplish your goal.

We have a request to print the Sales Order Backlog report by need by date instead of ship by date. One options was to recreate the report and make it custom Crystal report link. Is it possible to change the parameters to query the need by date instead of the ship by date in Vantage 8.03.408?
