Custom button launch...help!

Ok cool, that first part works great! Any ideas on how to create a UD
record from that part number I just passed if it doesn't exist?

I hope that helps,

I did smthg similar for pass parameter to another form,

declare part number on the screen as a variable e.g. partnum

ProcessCaller.LaunchForm(oTrans, "[form to run e.g.
Epicor.Mfg.UI.PartDimEntry", [parameter e.g. partnum])

bart.

How far fetched is this... I want to put a button on the part
maintenance screen that launches the UD101 table. Easy so far.. However
when it launches I want it to grab the current partnum on the screen and
if it exists (in the parent), have that record open for display on the
UD101 form. If the record does not exist in the parent table, create
it. It's those last two I'm feeling a bit ignorant about. Can anyone
shed some light on this?
