CusLabel Report Style

Does anyone know how to invoke the Report Style “CusLabel”. It appears to me that this is the “shipping labels” part of the packing slip print program.

I know the PackList report style has two print programs listed in the Report Location. The first one is the Packing Slip, the second one is the Shipping Labels. The standard report style shows the same report location for the Shipping Labels portion on the PackList report style as what shows in the CusLabel report style. So, as long as I’m dealing with the standard reports, seems like it doesn’t really matter.

However, I’ve got a case where I see a custom report style under the CusLabel report. It’s not listed anywhere in the PackList report, and it doesn’t show up when I invoke the print dialog from Customer Shipment Entry. I don’t see what the CusLabel is doing or why it’s there.

Anyone know what it’s for?

CusLabel does show up in Report Style Maintenance:

and you can look at PackSlip in Report Data Definition:

RDD is sort of a black box as far as many calculated field are concerned, but you can get some idea of where the data is coming from.

Sorry, guess I wasn’t clear in my original post.

When you are in Customer Shipment Entry and you click Actions → Print (or Overflow Menu-> Print), that pulls up the report styles associated with the PackSlip report style, not the CusLabels report style. Does anyone know where you can be in Epicor and invoke a print action that uses the CusLabels report style?

It is in the print options as shown below

Whether you select Packing Slip, Shipping Labels, or Both: this ALWAYS brings up the report styles that are associated with PACKSLIP. I have different report styles defined under the CUSLABEL report, but can’t seem to find where to invoke that.

Both styles should be under packslip report style as under:

I know how the PackSlip report styles work.

Open Report Styles. Open the report CusLabel. Where does CusLabel get used at?

If you have PackSlip open, that’s not my question.

Please compare the report location in your setup and the one I sent. You will see that both packslip and cuslabl are on the same field as under:
Report Locatoin: reports/PackingSlip/PackSlip,reports/ShippingLabels/ShipLabl

I have the Report Style PACKSLIP with styles A and B under it.

I have the Report Style CUSLABEL with styles C and D under it. The report locations in this report style point to completely different reports than the PACKSLIP.

When I’m in Customer Shipment Entry and click PRINT, I see ONLY report styles A and B.

Where do you go, click the PRINT icon, and see report styles C and D?

You have to specify the Cuslabel you want to use on the Style A of PACKSLIP. Both reports ie, packslip and label have to given in the same report style which is Style A of Pack in your case, as shown in the picture below
