Your command file was just what I needed today to round out my NT install with Crystal Web Component. Thanks Alan.

Subject: [Vantage] RE: Crystal Web Component - Refresh ODBC data - userID/ Pass word???
Sarah,
I attempted to upload the batch file I use to the files page on Yahoo as
"CWS.cmd". If it didn't get there, here's the command line: "C:\program
files\Seagate software\wcs\pageserver.exe" -cache-
deletecache -console. I dropped it into my startup folder and it works like
a charm. I tried switching from a user to a system dsn first, but it made
no difference, so I went to this.

word???
I looked up the old posts on this subject and found two things:
(1) I need to run the pageserver from a Doss prompt and not as a
service. I disabled the service, but I do not know how to run it
from a command prompt. I know, pretty pathetic, but I just do not
know DOS at all. I have tried run "path\file" but that didn't work.
(2) Several people mentioned switching the Progress driver from a
User DSN to system DSN. Is this necessary? I don't know how to go
about this either. I have looked through epicor's website and
through the ODBC install instructions but can't find any infor on
this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks again,
Sarah
