Crystal Sub reports

There is no user input and no other lines other than the two detail lines in
the master report. It seems master report should honor the page footers from
the subreports and keep them at the bottom of the pages.

With subreports, getting headers and footers to print exactly where you want
them can be near impossible, in my experience with subreports. Especially
if the master report contains headers and footers as well.

Are you using user input to decide between which of the two reports you
need? based on the user input, you could choose different headers and
footers and detail lines based on the type of report the users chooses,
without using subreports.

Other than that, all you can really do is make two seperate rpt files and
open and print them seperately....

I am trying to use two sub reports (bol1 and bol2) in a main report (bol) so
that I can get a second version with a slightly changed format for our Bill
of Lading. I have tried this type of report before and always run into one
little snag, the footers for both reports do not appear at the end of the
pages (they appear up an inch or so) unless enough detail (record) lines
force it to the bottom. Both reports appear normal when run independently.
The sub reports are located in detail lines of the main report and all other
lines are removed. Anyone know the trick to get the page footers positioned
where they belong?
