Crystal reports stored locally or in cloud?

Using public cloud Epcior 10 and wondering where crystal reports are stored? This is for a BAQ.

Locally or in the cloud?

I have a specific report, example 1111-label.rpt. I’ve searched our local storage folder for it and I can’t seem to find it. I searched the SSRS option 1111-label and there’s no file on our server with that name.

The issue is, we can’t print labels from our label printers. I installed the DWBAR font and still nothing. Only thing I can think of is that we moved all the local storage to sharepoint and either it’s not working or the file is missing from sharepoint. But I cannot confirm that until I find the report file and attempt to make it work and then fix whatever the actual issue is.

This all became an issue when we switched to Office 365/Azure/Sharepoint and removed our local server without thinking it would effect Epicor. Since then we’ve been unable to print and my best guess is that a report file or something is missing that was on the server.

Mr. Alan: The Crystal Reports are stored on the Epicor Server.

after updating your crystal report - create a support ticket and include the crystal report and let them know your server number and whether you want it updated in LIve and or Pilot and or Test.

You can download the crystal reports, and the associated XML (which works great) - however you are NOT able to upload it.

SSRS - you get to control download and upload. However, you are unable to maintain folders on the Epicor Server.

Don’t mean to bring up an old post but I’m back dealing with an old crystal report.

Can’t seem to find the answer to this question but how do I go about downloading the reports?

Mr. Alan:

  1. Preview a Report and set the archive period for 1 day. Preview the report and then close the preview.
  2. Open the System monitor and select the row of the item you just previewed.
  3. Click on Actions → Download Crystal Reports Data - select a folder. Epicor will download two files one will be the XML data file and the other will be the Crystal Reports RPT file.
  4. Open Crystal Reports and open the downloaded RPT file.
  5. Change data Location to be the downloaded XML file.
  6. Modify report - Save.
  7. Create EpicCare ticket and attach the updated Crystal Reports file. Make sure to give epicor your server number and specify to copy to both Live and PIlot.
  8. Done.

I do not have the ability to see this. I am signed in as an admin. Am I doing something wrong?
