Crystal Reports in 5.1

When you open these reports up in Crystal Designer, be sure to actually edit each subreport and do a Verify Database. In addition, do a "Set Location" and verify that each table in the subreport is connected to the proper ODBC driver and Vantage Tables.

If you are using Compiled reports, you may need to recompile the reports as well.

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal Reports in 5.1

We upgraded from 4.0 to 5.1 this past weekend. For the most part it
went quite well. Except: 80 of our 90 custom Crystal Reports 8.0
reports came over fine. The other 10 didn't. The one constant in the
10 reports is that they each have sub-reports. The sub-report by
itself works OK, but as soon as you run it with the main report we get
a Crw32 error. Has anyone else seen this? Vantage 5.1.113, Progress
9.1C, ODBC SQL92.
Thanks,
Bob Walton
