Crystal Report Labels

Ok, once I selected the different printer it gave me different page size options. I just went in and created a new page format for the printer and it worked perfectly.

Thanks, everyone, for your help.

I am trying to create about 50 different labels with Crystal reports and BAQ. I have the information I want in the report and I have it positioned the way I want, the problem I am having is the size of the paper. I only want to print a 3x5 label, but when I print it actually spits out 8.5x11.

Can someone tell me how I can setup the report to only print 3x5?

Thanks,
Aaron
What version of Crystal do you use?

Right-click n the section expert. Select the details section. There should
be a checkbox for multiple columns. Check that. Then another tab will show
up for layout where you set this up.

There is a mailing label wizard that will let you set up the size, type
of paper even, but you should also be able to set which printer it
should print to as well.

This worked for our 4 x 6 labels.

I've done that and it will let me change the width, but not the height. The height box is disabled and has a value of 0's.

Aaron, when you actually print to a label printer (which I'm assuming
you may have one connected to your PC for development) Crystal Reports
will auto-adjust the page settings to whatever that printer driver
specifies.

When I create my Crystal Reports labels I hook up an Intermec label
printer with a parallel cable to my PC. I create my label and the first
time I print to that physical printer Crystal Reports recognizes that
the Windows printer drivers specify a page setting of 4x6 or whatever
size media you are using.

Alternatively, I think you can go into Page Setup and also choose a
printer and it will auto adjust page settings.

Otherwise, until you print, Crystal Reports assumes 8.5x11.

Yes, and once it readjusts itself you should see everything in Design
mode truncated (width of form). If you get into Design mode move all
fields within the constraints you see now and it will only print out one
label... at least it should.
