CRM Tasklists and Quotes

I figured it out. You need to assign the task set to the territory and
then the customer/prospect to the territory and then at quote entry it
defaults to the appropriate task set.

Thanks anyway

When you create a new quote you need to change the task set first before
saving else you get this error.

You cant change it once it has been saved. (last time I checked)

We have set up the deault in the company configuration and now we are
experiencing a new problem. We have two different typps of quotations
each with its own task set. When we enter a quote of the type that
doesn't use the default task set and select the other set, we get the
Invalid Task Set error. Can we only have one task set for quotations?

Thanks

You need to build a task set with at least 1 milestone and related task. This task set then needs to be defined under your company configuration as teh default. When it pulls up the quote it will then pull in your task set under the task list tab

We are implementing the CRM package by starting with adding cases and
converting them to quotes. We have a task list set up for both
inquiries and quotations. When we convert the case to a quote the
status comes over as "Lead" and the tasklist dropdown is empty. When we
check the record as quoted we get an error message that a valid
tasklist needs to be assigned. Does anyone out there know what the
problem might be?

Thanks
