Cribmaster integration

We have it running here but no integration into Vantage was attempted. We
have a server (low end PC) running the database (MS-Access) and two vending
machines running in each building that connect to the server. All employees
have an ID to issue tooling. It is essentially an access database with a
GUI front end and crystal reports for reporting. Not bad but it was never
utilized to the extent we hoped. That may be partially because of the fact
that we could never fit all our tooling in the vending machines and with the
old room and desk with tool crib attendant available that is where the guys
preferred to go for tooling. I would imagine the integration would come
through some sort of ODBC export/import.

We recently took one of the machines out and have setup a warehouse in
Vantage with issuing to track our tooling. So far so good.

Lee,

We were looking into it a few months back. It looks really good. The salesman said that they could get it to integrate with Vantage. But, unless you or we hear that someone actually has I would approach the salesperson cautiously. For now we had to shelve it because of money issues, but I see us going back to addressing the software sometime again later next year.
